Adult Fèis
During the weekend 9th - 12th February 2007 it was Adult Fèis Weekend at Kilchuimen Academy, Fort Augustus. This event is always for over 18s only.
It was a fantastic weekend of tuition, sessions and concert with some of Scotland's finest Traditional musicians. This is a small adult fèis and we keep it small deliberately to maintain that intimate atmosphere that ensures friendliness, good tuition and fun. We like to add something a little different to our programme each year.
In 2007 we
had whistle making and there was a magic show from Jan Culshaw. Then to
top off the weekend we take you on a cruise up Loch Ness to clear your
head with a final session before you go home. Oh yes, and you can keep
an eye out for Nessie too.
The Date for 2009 will be 13th - 16th of February.
