Adult Fèis

This is a gem of a weekend and has become popular with tutors and participants alike. It is a weekend of tuition, sessions and concert with some of Scotland's finest Traditional musicians. This is a small adult fèis and we keep it small deliberately to maintain that intimate atmosphere that ensures friendliness, good tuition and fun.
We like to add something a little different to our programme each year which in the past has included such activities as a magic show and whistle making. In 2009 we ran a very successful drumming workshop with Drumfun. There is always no extra charge for these additional titbits. We are still working on what it will be for 2010. However, Kim Hardie will be with us in 2010 offering a relaxing massage service,. This is a private arrangement and payment should be made directly to Kim.
The thinking caps are on here at FGA on how to make 2010 even better and as you can see from the list below we are very excited to be able to offer clarsach with Catriona McKay, who is easily one of the most exciting clarsairs around today. Although, we have to admit more than just a little selfishness with the Adult Feis because we are guilty of getting more fun out of the weekend than anyone else, but then it is starting to feel like putting on a big party for all your friends old and new.
